Consulting Stream was founded in 2001 by Stephen McCabe, Nick Patchett and Neil Barton, all experienced senior management consultants. Their aim was to create a dynamic business providing unbiased, independent advice with a reputation for delivery excellence.

Originally focused on outsourced IT service contract performance and programme turnaround, Consulting Stream has advised numerous major blue chip enterprises and public sector clients. Consulting Stream is still advising many of its original clients from 2001 and a growing number of new clients that have been referred to us based on our reputation.

Today, Consulting Stream’s year on year growth continues and we specialise in the management and delivery of large scale and complex technology based programmes, providing end to end advice, from technology strategy, solution evaluation and cost optimisation, through to major programme management and delivery.

From the extensive work we have done in telecommunications and financial services we have developed deep subject matter expertise in intelligent transport systems, IT and network outsourcing; public sector programme management and large scale IT change programmes.

Our consultants demonstrate great depth of experience and specific expertise, based on many years experience as management consultants, engineers, systems integrators and programme managers.

Using our outcome based approach and an in-depth knowledge of large systems implementation, the processes that support them and the commercial environment to make them work, we help our clients to mitigate risks and increase the benefits realised from large scale programmes.
